- Pablo PicassoRecently the work of Saudi Arabian artist Fida Al Hussan was brought to my attention by a friend of mine. Why? Well because for some reason Fida painted me. I had to get in contact with her because the painting itself is amazing. What an incredible honour!

What Inspires you, Fida?
My feelings, colors, fashion and how they are all linked which give us that identity.
How do you know when a piece is finished?
When I feel I am completely satisfied as I step back and see it.
Is there an element you like using best with your art?
Yes, I love the use of inscriptions that tell a story of my culture, using my taste of colors.
Final Question, Why did you choose to paint me?
I was interested in your blog, I liked it so much! This made me work on something different, an angle where I could express myseelf through you...
