Pitti Uomo 94 Trends - Hats

This Pitti Uomo 94 spring/summer edition showed a beautiful week of European weather (28-30c) every day.

As always here at APMM we don't like to run with the "media crowd" and harbour on about the "peacocks of Pitti" as it is a very small percentage of what happens at the expo; which is old news anyway, moving on!

Our comparisons, of course, are mainly with the Australian menswear market, as opposed to Europe, UK or American markets, which are culturally and fashionably different.

The main Spring/Summer trend we continually see happening at Pitti Uomo; HATS!

Every man used to wear hats on every occasion and for some reason (maybe fashion reason) here in Australia, they started to lack (bar snapback caps). But over the past few years, we have seen a return of the Fedora, Trilby, Panama, Baker-boy and Flat cap.

Below is some inspiration for hat styling during Pitti Uomo 94 in Florence, Italy.
