LYNX supports I-Manifest with latest Find Your Magic accessory collection

Brought to you by Nuffnang and LYNX

In February 2016 men’s grooming brand LYNX launched their ‘Find Your Magic’ campaign which celebrated individuality and the idea that men are most attractive when confidently being themselves.

Since then, LYNX has partnered with former Vanishing Elephant designer Felix Chan to create the ‘Find Your Magic’ Collection – a range of men’s accessories inspired by three local creative personalities. All proceeds from the collection will be donated to I-Manifest, a charity focused on fostering creativity, design thinking, entrepreneurship and innovation through project-based activities to encourage young Australians to utilize their inner creativity and unleash their potential.

I-Manifest’s ‘Inspired Education’ is a project-based learning program aligned with the national curriculum. Delivered over six weeks to Year 9 or 10 students, the program combines real life work experience with core learning’s as well as core education outcomes in the format of a live creative brief. Creative industry professional’s work alongside teachers and the I-Manifest Program Manager led students through the program. It teaches the students skills they can use in their future work including collaboration, time management, presentation skills, business communication skills, networking skills, confidence in the workplace. The program helps foster creative thinking and entrepreneur skills.

Being in the creative industry myself, whilst I was growing up there weren’t programs like this you could do whilst at school. Only more trade-related school/TAFE programs where I did my Certificate Four in Automotive. Something like this may have given me the extra potential to get into my current career a lot earlier, so giving my support to this charity is a no brainer for me and like-minded individuals.

To support I-Manifest, be sure to check out and purchase items from the Find Your Magic accessory collection online. Watch this film to learn about what’s available in the collection.

The Find Your Magic accessory collection is inspired by these creative personalities:
o Mercado head chef, Nathan Sasi
o Hibernia Tattoo and former Bondi Ink tattoo artist, Giorgia Mae
o Australia and New Zealand Men’s Hairdresser of the Year 2013 - 2015, Jules Tognini

Here is more on the three creative personalities and their products;

You may have eaten ice-cream from Nathan Sasi’s Good Times Artisan Ice Cream or dined in at newly-opened Sydney restaurant Mercado. Sasi collaborated with Chan to design a custom silk pocket square, a pair of check socks and a patterned tie inspired by his love of old-school fashion.

To show her unique personal style, tattoo artist Giorgia Mae, who some may know from Bondi Ink, has created a silk scarf, an arrow tie and a pair of plaid socks. Pattern and plaid are heavily incorporated into Giorgia’s accessories, paying homage to her Scottish heritage which has influenced her life and style.

Jules Tognini, Australian and New Zealand Men’s Hairdresser of the Year for three years running created an indigo bandana, blunt tie and pair of tie-dye socks to capture his laid-back and free-spirited vibe. His passion for hair and male grooming is an extension of his love for fashion. Indigo and tie-dye are incorporated into the collection to reflect his personal style and mantra; dance to your own rhythm.
