The last day of Pitti Uomo 89 quiets down compared to the previous three, more have already flown off to Milan to continue their fashion rounds or off back home. The weather mild and the sun was out, I wanted to recreate a look I had done awhile ago but refine it a little. Whilst in Florence I had bought a vintage tweed waistcoat from Epocha to layer under from rust tweed sports jacket. A base of a clean white shirt from Eton and a beautiful wook tie from Shibumi Berlin. The charcoal flannel pants give the waistcoat and jacket a deeper contrast with a little more rust highlights in the socks which peak through from my Eidos x Christian Kimber brown suede chukka boots. Finishing touches were a pocket square from new Melbourne brand Tommy Luca and just plain lucky as my Oblyk sunglasses had orange gradient lenses and green frames to match my Tailfeather tote. So now the business has been done and the expo is over, it is now a wait until June 14 to see what summer will have in store for Pitti Uomo 90.
