"If you're not sure whether it looks good on you, it doesn't."
– Scott Omelianuk

On screen style can be a big influence, the way it is shot out across media and advertising. Great film stars like Steve McQueen, Marlon Brando, Sean Connery, James Dean and Carey Gant became style icons not only on screen but off screen too. Today movies like The Great Gatsby, The Man from U.N.C.L.E, Gangs of New York, Scarface, Gangster Squad and Casablanca are major influences bring back classic menswear and give the modern man an influential look into style. Although watching movies and taking style tips from them may seem easy, the factors of creating your own style will still remain and trying to look like someone your not will be noticeable in your body language. Going back to the basic steps of trying looks and seeing what works best for you is where you should start or if you see a look that interests you and you have the items in your wardrobe then it should be a lot easier to put together.

Today's look I took from the movie The Man from U.N.C.L.E, with it's 1960's inspired style and European backdrop. This look would be quite familiar with some, who have seen Steve McQueen wear a similar style.
