Beard on or beard off? It's generally a pretty tough choice for this Melbourne guy, but when it's all for a good cause growing out or shaving off my facial hair becomes a total no brainer.
Decembeard, a charity dedicated to fighting bowel cancer, has asked me to get behind their great organisation by putting down my razor for the month of December and growing out my beard in the hope of raising some much need funds.
Like so many men's health charities these days, the main reason behind growing a beard or moustache is to help guys feel comfortable enough to talk about their problems or even symptoms, which in this case may relate to possible bowel cancer.
It's not a hard task at all and I'm happy to be involved and do my bit to help in the fight cancer.
