Dior Homme Fragrance History

Grassing Around

I ran into a lady from perfumers Penhaligon's recently and something that she said really stuck with me, "When you're away on holiday, it's always best to use a different perfume or cologne to what you usually would use, so when you're not on holiday, you can use it to help you relax and remind you of the holiday you had."

It really makes perfect sense. The other day I was going to an event after work and I didn't want to wear the suit I had worn all day. I wanted to shut off work mode and changing my suit was all it took.

I have fond memories of holidays and beach trips, wearing casual tee's and chinos, maybe some shorts & slip-on loafer or boat shoe when the sun comes out. So on my days off you'll probably find me dressed in holiday mode - needless to say relaxing as best I can.

This philosophy is a good way to help you choose what to wear at different times of the year or on your days off work, but maybe mixing a little casual into your work wardrobe might just make your day a little easier.
