Watch of the Month: Ivy Watch Co Montauk

As I continue my journey in learning about watches, I came across the Ivy Watch Co and their watch the Montauk with a steel, nato or leather strap.

At first sight my eye was drawn to the case, it was cleverly designed with a hint of military style and a visual aesthetic that screams quality. The first time I wore it I was asked “Is that a Rolex?”.

The face is stripped back and simple with just two hands and no date. The watch itself is very versatile with the option of three different strap, changing the style from formal, smart and casual.

It has a Japanese quartz movement from Miyota  and the watch comes with a 2 year warranty. RRp is between $191 – 239 USD.

Below is some more detailed information;

The Montauk, designed to be robust yet elegant, features a 39.0 mm brushed stainless steel case with a polished bezel, Super-dome Sapphire crystal and an engraved case back.

The Nato comes with a matte and rugged nato strap available in black and olive.

Steel, comes with a comfortable and classic stainless steel bracelet in a carefully brushed finish. The bracelet is delivered in standard length and can be adjusted to perfect fit by removing links at your local jeweler or watch retailer.

And last of all the classic leather comes with a hand-made leather strap with seam detailing. Ivy Watch Co. only uses carefully curated vegetable tanned leathers of the finest quality from Tärnsjö Garveri, Sweden. Available in black, hazel, cognac and tan.
