Pitti Uomo 91 Trends: Beanies

Beanies are back!

We started wearing them as babies and now the practical winter hat is seen worn by many around the world.

When it comes to Pitti Uomo many seem to lean towards Panama’s in summer and Fedora’s for winter, not to mention flat caps.

But Beanies aren’t something that you see taking over headwear, until now.

At Pitti Uomo 91 the hat of choices was a Beanie, I mean I don’t really blame anyone for not wearing one, it was freezing in Italy!

The Beanie has not general style or fashion genre you can put it and at Pitti Uomo 91, was seen with streetwear, workwear, sartorialists and the everyday casuals.

Being a knitted product, the beanie can be made out of any fibre.

Many I saw were made from Cashmere, Merino Wool, Tweed and blends.

There were so many photos from the expo of men in beanies, so I have chosen a few below, I hope you enjoy the varies styles.
