New Men’s Grooming Essentials for Christmas

Jared Acquaro

Wearing nice well-fitting clothes is one thing but what about the rest?

Looking after your own well being is a huge part of looking and feeling good. The better you feel the better you look.

Grooming isn’t too time-consuming and overly hard but it will make all the difference in your overall appearance.

Here are a few new products on the market just in time for Christmas I personally recommend, as I am using them all currently.

Face

Le Labo – Face Lotion

This lightweight formula keeps your skin smooth and hydrated.

This plant-based formula is made with shea butter (to nourish), ginger root (to smooth), mango (to moisturize), and is also paraben-free, phthalate-free and artificial colourant-free.

I am not one for using face creams as they leave me looking oily after awhile. This cream isn’t so bad and I find it quite light compared to others.

Triumph & Disaster – Logic Face Tonic

A Witch Hazel Toning Lotion by Triumph & Disaster. This natural, alcohol-free toner is your ticket to the show. As the name suggests, ‘Logic’ is all about simplicity, accuracy and clarity, values espoused in the pursuit of an honest, natural, effective solution to toning and treating skin. By cleaning out the last remnants of each day’s oily residue and unwanted build up, ‘Logic’ works hard to clear pores and leave skin clean and taut.

I usually use witch hazel on its own, but this tones and hydrates the skin, leaving a more healthy glow.

Hair

Mr Hawke – Flex Pomade

It’s a flexible cream that you apply right down to the roots, due to its added ingredients which help with scalp conditioning and hair re-growth.

If you find your hairstyle getting a bit tired towards the end of the day, there’s no need to put on more product. All you have to do is wet your hands and run them through your hair to refresh your look.

It is an easy product to use and leaves you with a matte finish but medium hold.

Beard/Mustache

Le Labo – Beard Oil

This beard oil tames even the toughest beard or moustache leaving it smooth and moisturized.

This plant-based formula is made with sunflower (to protect), grapeseed (to smooth), jojoba (to nourish), and is also paraben-free, phthalate-free and artificial colourant-free.

The men’s grooming line scent has the classic freshness of bergamot and lavender edged with the coolness of violet and tonka bean.

All natural and straightforward to use. Has a great masculine fragrance.

So get yourself or a friend a great stocking stuffer for Christmas and have a safe, healthy New Year from all of us here at APMM!
